Diana Rohrer

I have been a member of the GMC since 2007.  I started off as a Children’s Church teacher, then served as a steward and now am very happy to be the Church Secretary.  I’m a mom to two awesome children – Jessica and Alastair, who have flown the nest to follow the journey God has planned for them.

Phil Birch

Phil has been a George resident since 1985, is happily married to Lesley and is an estate agent. Currently Phil works as the GMC Office Administrator on a part-time basis.  Phil is an ordained Local Preacher having begun preaching in 1990.  He has also lead various Bible study groups as well having been an Alpha course co-ordinator.  Phil is presently serving as a Society Steward as well as the Synod Trust Properties Steward for the Camdeboo Synod.

Ryno Grobbelaar

Ryno and his wife Shareese have 2 beautiful kids, Zelany and Joshua. In early 2003 Ryno gave his life to Jesus and has not turned back since. Cleaning and Maintenance Staff

Leon van Rooyen

Leon has been with the George Methodist Church since 2009. Leon is married and has a son, Ricardo and three grandsons. He is in charge of the maintenance responsibilities throughout the church. Leon arrives at work early and often leaves late, serving on weekends sometimes too. When you step onto the property and you see how magnificent the grounds look, you’ll be able to see how hard Leon works.
Cleaning staff

Christina Carelse

Christina Carelse is one of the cleaning staff at the George Methodist Family Church and has been working for the Church for more than two decades! She has four children and eight beautiful grandchildren. Christina loves gardening and making spaces look beautiful. Singing is one of her greatest passions and you can often hear her singing while she works. Joy bubbles over when ever you’re around Christina.
